De Stash is built privacy-first. All storage analysis, search, and cleanup happens entirely on your Mac. We do not collect, transmit, or store your files, file names, or scan results.
What we don't collect
- No file contents, paths, or scan results leave your device.
- No account is required to use the app.
- No analytics or tracking SDKs are bundled in the app.
License verification
Pro licenses are verified offline using a cryptographic signature — activating a license does not require a network connection or send your key to us.
This website
Our marketing site may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand traffic. It never links to anything you do inside the app.
